Public Telephones

Calls can be made to all areas of Bangkok and its perimeters at 1 Baht for the first three minutes, while domestic long-distance calls are charged according to the destination.

Overseas Calls

Calls can be made from credit-card telephone booths, or at the Post and Telegraph offices located in the departure and arrival lounges.

Cellular Phones

The hire of cellular phones can be arranged for incoming passengers at the counter in the Arrival Lounge.  Please contact telephone No.  535-3598-9

4. Foreign Exchange Facilities 

There are a number of foreign exchange counters and automatic exchange machines available at the departure and arrival lounges of the International and Domestic Passenger Terminals.

5. Tourist Service

Tourist information can be obtained from the counters of  the Tourism Authority of Thailand, while conducted tour reservations can be made at the Tour Service Center in the Arrival Lounge.  At the same time, the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA) counter operates on a 24-hour basis and offers a range of services to customers, including the provision of meeting/greeting services and advance bookings for foreign visitors.

Hotel accommodation can be booked upon arrival at the counter of the Thai Hotels Association (THA) in the Arrival Lounge.

7. Emergency Medical Services

The Airport Clinic is located on the 1st floor (adjacent to the Arrival Lounge in Terminal 1 of Bangkok International Airport).  Qualified medical personnel are available to assist passengers on a 24-hour basis. Please contact telephone Nos. (662) 535-1113, 535-1755.  In addition, the Airports Authority of Thailand (AAT) personnel are on hand to provide first aid services to visitors in Terminal 2 of Bangkok International Airport and Bangkok Domestic Terminal.

8. Transit Passenger Facilities

To accommodate the needs of passengers, there are rooms for rent on the 2nd and 4th floor of Terminal 1 and 2 for six hours during the day time.  The rates are reasonable and also include soft drinks.  Other facilities in the Transit Lounge include conference room, game room, left-luggage office, duty free shops, nursery, barber shop, beauty salon, florists, drugstore, photo fast and foreign exchange facilities, sauna and massage.

International Passengers  -  Baht 500/person (paid through PSC Vending Machines or PSC counters)

Domestic Passengers   - Baht 30/person (paid at the check-in counter)

Customs

If you have nothing to declare, proceed through the Green Channel. If you have something to declare, for example, if  you are carrying articles in commercial quantity, or are in possession of prohibited or restricted articles, proceed through the Red Channel
